Refund and Returns Policy
How cancellations, returns, replacements, statutory withdrawal rights, and refunds work.

How to request help
Refunds are reviewed by a person; they are not issued automatically from the customer account. Email support@kitsourcing.com with the order number, the item or SKU, the reason for the request, and photos or video when an item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect. Please contact us before returning a physical item so we can provide the correct return route and avoid a lost package. This request for instructions does not restrict any statutory cancellation method available to you.
Standard voluntary returns
For physical standard kits, we offer a voluntary return window of 30 calendar days after delivery when the item is unused, complete, in resalable condition, and returned with its original packaging and included accessories. This voluntary policy sits alongside, and never replaces, any mandatory right that applies to you.
Unless the item was wrong, damaged in transit, defective, or we otherwise agree in writing, the buyer pays the direct cost of returning an eligible voluntary return. We do not reimburse customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or return-carrier charges that were not collected by us.
EEA, EU, UK, and other statutory consumer rights
Consumers in the EEA, EU, UK, and any jurisdiction with mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, conformity, or warranty rights may have rights that differ from this voluntary policy. For example, an eligible distance-sale consumer may generally have a 14-day withdrawal period beginning when the consumer or a nominated third party receives the goods. Where mandatory law applies, it controls over any inconsistent statement in this policy.
A statutory withdrawal right can have lawful exceptions, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized. A custom sourcing request is not treated as automatically non-refundable solely because it is custom; we assess the actual supplier, procurement, and legal position for that order.
Non-returnable or reduced-value items
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, we may decline a voluntary return for used, installed, modified, soldered, damaged, incomplete, safety-sealed, or non-resalable items; goods damaged by incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, wrong voltage, overheating, short circuit, overcurrent, improper installation, or unauthorized modification; and made-to-specification or personalized goods once procurement or production has made cancellation impracticable. Reasonable handling necessary to inspect an item is not the same as installation or use.
Wrong, damaged, or defective items
If we shipped the wrong item, an item is materially incomplete, or a verified manufacturing or fulfillment defect exists, we will assess the evidence and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, reshipment, repair, partial refund, or refund. We may ask you to retain the item, return it using our instructions, or provide reasonable diagnostic information before resolving the claim. Nothing here limits rights that mandatory product-conformity law gives you.
Cancellations and shipping delays
Contact us immediately to cancel before procurement or dispatch. We will cancel and refund any order that has not entered an irreversible supplier, production, or carrier stage when reasonably possible. If we cannot ship within an applicable stated or statutory time, we will provide the delay and cancellation options described in the Shipping Policy; unshipped merchandise is refunded promptly when cancellation is required or accepted.
Refund timing and payment method
Approved refunds are returned through the original PayPal payment method whenever available. For a voluntary return, we may wait until the returned item is received or you supply reliable proof of return, where applicable law permits. We process an approved refund promptly and no later than any deadline imposed by applicable law; PayPal and the payment issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
Digital resources and payment disputes
Manuals, firmware links, source repositories, and 3D-model links supplied with an eligible purchase are licensed or provided subject to the product listing and any third-party license. Accessing a digital resource does not automatically remove a consumer right unless the law’s consent and acknowledgement requirements have been met. Contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate, but this does not prevent you from using a lawful payment-provider or consumer-protection process.
